Pieces of Eight is Back!

In the world of fund-raising it’s called a win, win situation.  The public is offered a fantastic opportunity of good fortune – a Dinner for 8, with wine pairing – and the organization is able to support its favorite cause.  In this case, WCA Foundation’s Pieces of Eight #2 raffle will support the construction of a new Obstetrics Surgical Suite for WCA Hospital with the net profits of this fun and unique fund-raising event.  Click on the I WANT A TICKET button above for a mail in form or the Donate Now button above to purchase online.

Supporters of the WCA Foundation and Hospital can participate with the purchase of  $10 tickets for the possibility of winning the $1,000 prize.   Should they not hold the winning ticket on December 1, 2015, they can be consoled by the knowledge that they helped build a new Obstetrical Surgical Suite and upgrade the services our wonderful regional hospital has to offer.

Renowned Key West Chef Todd Singleton will again prepare and serve a meal designed with the winner for eight lucky people.  Sam Whitmore, owner of Bag and String in Lakewood, NY, will choose and present wine pairings with each course.  If you do not choose to serve wine with your meal, appropriate beverages will be provided.  The entire dining experience, enjoyed in a setting the winner provides, is worth approximately $1,000.  Plan a dinner within Chautauqua County in a park, at your home or in the woods!  Make the experience as unique as you are, but you can’t win if you don’t buy your tickets before the drawing on December 1, 2015.  The dinner must be enjoyed before December 1, 2016 on a date mutually convenient to all parties.  Winner must be at least 18 years old and 21, if they are to consume the legal beverages served.

To purchase tickets for this exciting opportunity, Click on the I WANT A TICKET button above for a mail in form or the Donate Now button above to purchase online.  Want to buy them in person?  You can stop in the Bag & String or WCA Hospital Gift Shop and Café – inside the Foote Avenue entrance of the hospital – to purchase your tickets.  Brigetta Overcash, Executive Director of WCA Foundation, will also assist you in purchasing tickets if you contact her at Brigetta.Overcash@wcahospital.org or call 716-664-5461.  All donations are tax deductible according to the law, unless you WIN!

Thank you for supporting WCA Foundation’s Board of Directors in their effort to support our award winning community health care hub, WCA Hospital.  For more information about the 2014 winner, Dr. Lyndon Gritters and his event, click here to see the October 2015 news release in The Post-Journal.
